Optima xm burglar alarm panel

Hi, hope someone can help. My optima xm panel has stopped working. The power light is on but no green day light and the key pad in inoperative also the PIRs do not light up. I have replaced the battery and checked the fuses. I have powered down and up again and connected and reconnected the battery. When this happens the alarm in the panel goes off. I put in my code and press reset and all looks ok but after a few seconds the green day light goes out and the key pad becomes ineffective. Any ideas please - I have tried the power down procedure several time now.
