    Hi,
this weeknd, my girlfriend decided to paint our kitchen cabinet doors with white paint. Unfortunately she used the rest of the Leyland Viny Matt Emulsion I had bought when I repainted the walls.
    She only put one coat.

What should I do ? Can I use this first vinyl matt coat as a some sort of primer and simply paint over with an acrylic one, or should I hand-sand the painted area before painting again with acrylic ?
Or do I keep this vinyl matt paint, apply a second coat of the same (because for now the coating is far from perfect) and then a top coat to make it more resistant to water or stains..

    thank you in advance..

Wouldn't surprise me if you could wash it all off.

Simply rubbing it down with a fine grade sandpaper will remove most of the matt emulsion. What you need to do for a nice water resistant finish is use Satinwood. (two coats) See pic attached of recent project. Johnston's Chalk white satinwood was used to revamp these units.
