What is wrong with todays paint stripper, it's seem to been lacklustre in performance & the cost is ridiculous, Nitomors All purpose paint remover 4ltrs - £40.99p.

Even tried SF own Nonsense Paint stripper @ £3.99p for litre, & that has struggled to remove the paint, it's only two coats of green gloss from metal garden furniture, & even with two applications it still hasn't remove all the paint.

I tried to buy Paramose Stripper, but because it has dichloromethane, which is restrictive/banned you can't buy it for home use, only for industrial, professional installations now.

I gave up on paint stripper and started using a heat gun instead, it's usually fine but when I was stripping some doors of about 10 layers of paint, some good quality paint stripper would have made it easier. If good paint stripper was Nitromors price then I could get doors dipped for that.

Did think about have everything sandblasted/shotblasted but, cost was nearly £180 for eight metal bench ends.

Even considered buying a sandblaster attachment (£35) for my Nilfisk pressure washer, but I'm not familar with wet blasting.

2010 VOC's have a lot to answer for. For stripping paint I use a caustic soda dipping tank...no probs!
