I've got some black armored leccy cable running down a pebbledash exterior wall and I want to paint it so that it blends in a bit more.

Any tips on what paint to use and also any way to give it a more textured finish?

Is the pebble dash already painted?
Assuming it is....2 coats of Zinsser Bullseye 123 High Adhesion Primer followed by the masonry paint colour.

Barn Paint would be a very expensive choice in this instance.

Sandtex do sample sizes of textured masonry paint, best see if you can get a suitable match then same procedure as my previous post.

Thanks . Think I've got some of that zinsser bullseye upstairs. I probably won't need much more than a tester of the sandtex it's only a bout an 8ft run of cable :)

Anything that isn't solvent based that would adhere to masonry would be fine, solvents will damage the outer sheathing of the cable so be careful.

All paints mentioned in the advice given are waterbased.
