Hi all, what is the correct / best way painting a large perspex panel in an old door, the doors are old and oddly sized so don't fancy replacing them, painting them should spring some life into them, considered spray paint but would work out expensive rather than using the right paint in the right way with the right roller? Thanks in advance!

Can't see this working out well.

Don't think the finish would be very good, even with good prep.
What about window film? Easily changed and would give a better look

Apply a high adhesion primer to the Perspex such as Zinsser Bullseye 123, when fully dry apply paint colour of your choice over the recommended undercoat.

The perspex has a texture to it as it so the film wouldn't do the job but thanks for replying frosty, Astramax - sounds like the plan, will give that a shot, Thank you for the advice.

Well applied two coats of zinsser bullseye as instructed by Astramax with two coats of emulsion afterwards and the finish is absolutely spot on, swear by zinsser stuff now!
