Hi guys hope you can help I've been given a paslode im350. An I'm trying to get it working as I didn't come with any battery's or charger!! It sometimes engages an other times it don't. When it does it sends out gas to the chamber but it's the plunger don't. Go all the way up? When testing it on say a upright stud it does plunge all the way but trying it on a floor it don't??? Any help would be really good as don't really want to send it to a shop if it's something I can fix my self. Ps if any one has any battery's or a charger laying about you want to sell please let me know.
Have you cleaned the gun? I find that I need to clean mine every 2-3 gas bottles otherwise it stops firing. Get Paslode cleaning kit and follow cleaning instructions. Oil it well put charged battery in and see if that helps? I have had mine for 5 years and it's been reliable. It only stops firing when not maintained. You can really tell if it is working if you do not have a battery! Buy some on ebay.
