Pine skirting board gaps filling advice

    Cheers, looks good :D, so i just fire this stuff onto the plaster, fix into position and brace? hopefully its low expansion? or is it fast enough to not need a support.

    Spray some water around first.

    Definitely brace it, and only use a small bead of it. Usually sticks solid in 5-10 minutes.

    When I see this "specialist" grab adhesive version of expanding foam I often wonder if it's just a marketing gimmick and just standard expanding foam which we have all used as an adhesive with a new label and large price hike. A bit like pain killers for specific parts of the body and all the other con's out there.

    Oh and don't get me started on dual sided skirting boards. HATE them. You need a flat base in order to extend a cut line from back to front. (you can't always just chuck it in a chopsaw ;)). The only one benefiting from dual skirting is the store as they don't have to stock 2 products. When you have dual Torus and Ogee they can often cup as well.
