I did hope that once he got in power he would calm down and become rational and sensible. Hoping all the electioneering was bluster and attention seeking, which it was. But its carrying on ! Obama has done wonders for the usa, and been pretty good for most of the rest of the world too. And he was an honest type. To see trump about to unpick a lot of what he done, is twice as bad as what he intends to do in the future. Just remember though, we are not that far behind that type of leadership. And it is what we wanted, well not all of us.
Why does usa need something different? For once in its recent history it has achieved some good things. You dont have to like obama, but he has achieved more good than bad. Or can you see something I cant?

I actually like Obama, I believe that he's a genuine sort of chap, but he failed to tap into public growing public feeling that he wasn't looking after America well enough. Donald Trump is astute enough to identify that feeling and cash in, he was helped along the way by Hillary Clinton who's too "establishment". The President is very often a figurehead advised by wiser people and DT certainly has the talent for team building.
I still remember how blown away everyone was when Obama was voted in. He has done some great things too, and fair share of bad. Great public speaker too.
