When spreading finish plaster over bonding from people's experience is it better to have a thin first coat, due to quick drying out time and then thicker second coat.

Unibond or PVA first 1-3 mix then heavyer (thicker) mix for first coat then thin mix for tighter 2nd coat

never pva over bonding. you should apply skim approx 2 hours after bonding coat. if its been left longer give a good drink then 2 thick coats. pva should never be used on bonding, there is no need for it.
