Hi all I have a blocked sink, removed the trap and the blockage is further down the line. So my question is if I cut the pipe would I be able to get a push or compression fitting to fit onto solvent weld plastic pipe as I'm not sure if there is different sizes. Any advice would be appreciated
SW is larger so would struggle to get a push fit on there. Could use a compression fitting. One plan is to remove the bend elbow when leaving the trap and install a 'T' (correct orientation), the remaining end can be fitted with an access plug for rodding in future.
Something like this any good, rather than cutting the pipe. http://www.screwfix.com/p/plumbing-...tracking url&gclid=CPPi-_Xgh84CFUQo0wodec8IWA
