Please advise me.....

    Woodwork - you have to follow your gut mate. If you want to do woodwork for a living go for it. As already said, find someone local to you who could do with a hand. Offer to pick them up in the morning, drop them home as well as all the other stuff. You have to make yourself valued. Don't let the fact you are 30 make any difference: the fact you are genuinely interested will win hands down over a 16 year old who is doing something because their parents told them to do something and only interested in messing around with their iphone and not know one end of a drill from the other.
