Positioning of an electric hob

    Hello!

    We are hoping to have one side of our kitchen replaced, which will involve installing a new oven and hob unit.

    The problem is that our current integrated oven and built in hob are situated under a window, and a kitchen designer has told us we cannot have a new gas hob in the same place. Could anyone tell me if this applies for electric hobs?

    Yeap electric is fine, gas is a no no due to flames!!
