Problem with landing light

    Sounds like a basic strappers the wrong way around pr possibly a leg down on the strappers mate

    Alvin, this is all very simple:
    First off forget the cpc (earth, sleeved green/yellow).
    Then, one switch should have 5 conductors and the other just 3.
    Look for the 2 cables in the switch with 5 conductors and separate both cables. The cable with 2 conductors are from the light fitting and should go into L1 and L2, doesn't matter which way around. Then the cable with 3 conductors go into COM, L1 and L2, again doesn't matter which way around, as long as those 3 conductors go into the same terminals in the switch with only 3 conductors.
    Follow these simple instructions, get it working, reply and thank me later!!

    I had to leave my landing light on last night.

    Woke up this morning - Boeing 747 on the roof!
