Afternoon lads. Just a quick question regarding above. Do any of you guys know if a Henly or similar with both top and bottom entries exists? Reason for asking is that I would like to run straight into the top of the Henly from my main isolator instead of running down and then into the bottom of the unit. From the bottom just two sets of tails would be coming out instead of two sets plus feeders - its more aesthetics then anything really. Thanks lads.
All the single pole ones have three entries one side, and two on the opposite..... I prefer a pair of single pole sat abutted to each other than a double pole one.
Will these do? These blocks were used when BG installed my 100A DP isolator. There are tabs which can be removed if any of the entries is to be used. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Single-Pole-MLNS-Connector-Block/dp/B00C3ISO6Y
Two of these adjacent look so much neater than the double pole ones, three entries top (or bottom) and two entries opposite. http://www.screwfix.com/p/5-way-sp-100a-service-connector-block-25mm/82608
Guys just used what you suggested and I must say it was a pleasure to cable in using those service blocks - no more dp Henly for me in future. Thanks lads.
With that coiled earth, in the event of a current to earth fault, there could be a massive induced current causing a magnetic field. By my calculations it may be strong enough to rip the gas meter from its position. This could cause a gas explosion. I have to condemn your electrical installation under the gas safe thingy.
Even worse. Judging by that installation chaos theory would suggest that the moving of an earth clamp could cause a tidal wave. That whole room should be ip44 rated.
The Marshaling Blocks posted by Jitender are by far the best out there and are used by most DNO Meter Operators. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Single-Pole-MLNS-Connector-Block/dp/B00C3ISO6Y Mine are in Black but are the same bar colour.
WPDs look identical, but as with their heads these days, are all allen screw (for the allen type screwdriver).
