Hello Miss Pickle, yes I enjoyed the pint but I had to pay for it because Edwin Lash wasn't there, at least I don't think he was, it's some years since I saw him and even one of the regulars, Charlie Smart, thought that he'd gone off and married his pal's girlfriend, she worked at Bootle Sainsburys for a while and left when she was offered a job as a goatherd in Morocco. I expect he'll be back because Bootle is making a bid to host the 2048 Winter Olympics and Edwin's a cool customer, according to Charlie he owes several people pints and they are all looking for him.
