Re-fixing bath trim

We have an 'L' shaped trim that goes behind the bathroom tiles, and sits on top of the bath edge, but whatever was used to glue the trim to the top of the bath is failing, and water is now getting under the trim.

I'm not really sure what product to use to 'glue' the trim back down onto the bath edge. It didn't get fitted while we were in the house so I don't know what was used in the past, but it looks like they may have just used clear silicon sealant.

    Any suggestions welcome.

    Cheers.

I would use a bed of clear bathroom sealant and push trim into that, wiping off any excess.
