Hi all this my first post!

We have a house that is bottom half stone and top half rendered.

It needs to be painted again as the paint is starting to thin and there are like small brown staining appearing through the thinning paint but no flaking or cracking.

Could anyone help me with what preparation I need to do before I paint with dulux masonry paint please

    Thanks in advance

    Andrew

The first thing to consider is safe access to all at height areas.

As Astamax suggest - first consideration safe access. Then spot prime (seal) the brown stains and leave to thoroughly dry . Use a decent quality roller and paint.
