    Hello All,
I will be taking out a bath soon with the shower pump underneath the bath.
The immersion is on the landing, with the cold water tank just above it.
Will the pump work in the loft, a few feet above the tanks?

If it's come from under the bath then it's most likely a positive head pump. To install one above the tanks you will need a negative head pump.

Thanks Dave, but they want to keep this pump, will it just not work?

Can't it be fitted in the airing cupboard where the cylinder is, this way it could be kept.

No it won't if you go above the tanks you need a purpose made pump( negative head) below the tanks and cylinder positive head. Simple physics dictate the difference. Below the tanks you have pressure on the pump above the tanks the pump has to create pressure you can't just swap them over.
