Just a heads up if anyone has the same problem as me. The twerp who lived here before me stuck down the carpet tiles with evo-stick in two bedrooms. Must have been high for a week! They are a *****, to get up. Scrapers, a mutt and Bosch multitool worked to an extent, but ripped the boards to bits. I finally tried a steam wallpaper stripper only requires a little coaxing with a scraper and they came up easy.
Steam is the only thing to lift stuck down carpet tiles, would most likely work for vinyl,cork & other tiles as well. Got a steam cleaner here, made short work of the tiles in my last place.
