    Morning all,

Advice appreciated. Not sure how useful the photo is but when I place the reveal plasterboard in the velux slot there's a good 30mm gap to the joist. What are my options please?
Should I pack the gap with wood or run battens around?
Also when the roofer fitted the velux should it have that gap between joist and the side of the velux?

    Cheers nicely

Shouldn't be any gap, but I haven't seen the newer Velux
windows, so not sure if fitting method has changed slightly.

    See this.

Great thanks, so I'll have to pack the gap all around the velux then screw the reveals on?

So the back of the plasterboard reveals are flush with the wooden packers??
