Hi, We’re after a quote for a full rewire, we can’t get any one round at the minute as we don’t have access for the property. We have a 2 bed semi-dethatched property with old electrics in need of a full re-wire, including a rcd/distribution board & lights. The current state of the house makes everything easily accessible with floorboards ready to come up upstairs & downstairs ect, We would like to keep chasing out to a minimum however where it's required, it's required. we're after all white fittings and we also need all sockets and switches sinking into the brick as they currently protrude from the wall. We're also hoping the work can be done in under a week. Lounge: 5 Double sockets Kitchen: 5 Double sockets, Cooker point, 1 socket under the worktop Top stairs/Landing: 1 Double socket Bedroom 1: 5 Double sockets Bedroom 2: 3 Double sockets Bathroom: Shower Point We'd also like a double socket put into an outbuilding that's attached to the kitchen. He not asking for much just basic rewire most sparks should knock that out 3 -4 days I assume he having smokes and lights
1 either side of the bed (2), 1 easily accessible for the hovering (1), the plasma and sky box (2) and still nowhere to plug in the phone charge! So, let's spend a few pounds more and put in some with USB.
Don't worry Phil you will never have enough In any house the number of gadgets will alway exceed the number of free sockets.
3 days to first fix I would say, then wait 3 months for a plasterer to finish before you are back usually.
You seem to think this isn't possible, it only 2 bedroom house I regularly 1st fix in day half houses of this size only take day to 2nd fix
