On the subject of a trade deal with the us that jack mentioned, what's the betting that the Tories and the yanks will try to make it a bilateral equivalent of TTIP? My money would be on, definitely. Beware.
Oh look, as if by magic the bbc have got an article on it this morning.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business And in true bbc style it's not exactly open, honest and frank.
http://www.independent.co.uk/voices...-why-the-answer-should-scare-you-9779688.html Just swap the EU for UK . We are not even as strong as were to fight it. It wont even be a fight. To me, its just a case of becoming the 51st (or 52nd? ) state of USA in everything but name.
Not the next US state but certainly subservient to the TNCs. I disagree though about the strength to resist. Post brexit it's not 20 odd governments and a bunch of beurocrats that need resisting, it's one. One very weak bunch of Tories. The potential deal will need scrutiny and it will get just that. We'll be able to organise effective resistance and it won't get through.
