Sorry to hi jack your thread wiggy, but on the subject of roof tiles, do you have to have the same ones that came off so they fit together with next doors roof or can you go for anything?

 

No, he can use what ever tile he likes, so neighbour can have slate & wiggy have tiles,as you fit what is called a 'bonding gutter' like Marley Eternit High Profile bonding gutter, several other makes available, some with a different profile, also low & high profiles.
It gives you a waterproof joint between different roof tiles.
