Glued, nailed, it aint going anywhere,so no need for screws.

Why would I want to screw it now ? . Just heard that screws will hold a lot better

It is already glued and nailed. That will be enough to hold it. My floors were nailed down 25 years back - and they have not moved and if I need to lift a board those nails are a real pain to remove.

Yes, use screws when it is first installed in placed of nails but not as well.
