Hey... I've just had a new kitchen and have oiled solid oak worktop and a Belfast sink... Looking for sealant to go round the edges... Any ideas what works?

Surely the fitters should have made sure all edges and joints were sealed as necessary?

The "sealant" which may be on top of the sink under the worktop is really only there to provide a bit of support. The worktop should overhang the top of the sink by 10mm all round, so any water running over the edge of the worktop must drop in to the sink. A bead of sealant will help to stop the odd drip curling under and should have been put around the top of teh sink before the WT was laid over. If the edge of the worktop is in line with the side of the sink, IMO it's been installed incorrectly. Look online for the installation instructions for your sink and make sure the fitters have done it right and provided the overhang. If they haven't, call them back - a belfast sink does not rely on sealant to stop water flooding down the outside of the sink! heres an example http://www.carron.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Belfast-Fitting-Instructions.pdf
