    Hi,

So I've got a 100mm wall, breeze block type construction, I've cut out a chase that is around 20mm or so deep. it's likely the wall might need to be built out a little bit but there isn't a whole lot of room to play with once the plasterboard and tiles are on so I need a way to secure the pipes into the chase without protruding too much.

The pipe clips I have cause the pipes to stick out too far.

    so I thought about:

    1) Insulating / protecting the copper against the wall, something like (I suppose normal duct tape would be fine?)

    2) use the following to secure the pipes (I had planned to use copper pipe but maybe plastic is better suited for this?) - Is there a better alternative?:

    3) I had picked up one of these when they were on sale at HomeBase
