Could not believe what I saw on the news...Ken Livingstone well set up...cameras, microphones etc just happened to be there, people wise up were all being shafted in what we are fed by so called media giants!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"cameras, microphones etc just happened to be there,"... That's because where it happened is the Westminster media centre at No 4 Millbank, just across from the Houses of Parliament... BBC, Sky, ITV and others all have their political coverage based there, and camera crews are pretty much always set up there, or going in/coming out from various recording commitments in and around the environs of Parliament. The IN campaign are losing the battle, so time to change the news while they dream up some other excuse to stay IN. How can we say we have freedom of speech in this country and then suspend people for doing that???? Was it anti semantic, who knows, but when are we going to stop being offended on behalf of other people, when those people haven't raised a concernce. It strikes me that the anti racists are the biggest racists, for stirring up trouble to make themselves look good.
Ken's comments about Hilter supported Zionism, is history,it happened, you can't change history. But,very today few know their history, 'The Haavara Agreement' was signed on 25 August 1933 between the Zionist Organization and Nazi Germany. Its aim was to enable German Jews, emigrating to Palestine, to take some of their possessions with them to Palestine.
Actually, oor Ken is basically a decent enough cove, but seems to like being seen as being 'right on' more than 'measured' in any way. If there's a left-wing cause, he's there - ready with an over-the-top soundbite. A bit of a twit. But, but, but... Congestion charge? Well, something was needed to help prevent 1,000s of premature deaths each year due to pollution. Didn't he do summat like free pubic transport as well? And helped the Arts - badly needed. Whereas Boris - "If the NHS wasn't free at the point of entry it would help..." - gave us bikes...
It must be Jebus saving those babies as the congestion charge has had little or no effect on air quality.
Possibly not, Para, I just don't know. But then you are comparing the situation as it is now - as opposed to what it could have been without the CG. But, I don't know.
CG. ??????? CC. Any road its nothing more than yet another tax on the motorist, do you think peeps stop going to London because of it, most of yhevtrafficbin London is trade of some sort so can't use Public Transport, whatbwouldvreally help is stop blocking roads with bloody gates and set traffic lights to work in favour of the traffic instead of against it, im conviced congestion is deliberately caused to justify the charge, its happening in other towns and citys to where lights are fitted causing congestion. As for Lez, (low emission zone) yet another tax in the making, after all London is completely surrounded by the M25, are you telling me that the fumes from it stop at the beginning of the zone.
