    Hi Folks,

I am looking advice on shed flooring,

Presently I am building my shed with 69 x 32 beams however I am wondering about the floor

I have seen places that say 69 x 32 for floor beams are sufficient others say I should go at least for 2 x 6

Can someone advise if 69 x 32 is sufficient If not would it cost much more to go for 2 x 6?

What are your unsupported spans and what are your joist centres?

I am going to run 4 lengths of 69x32 10 foot long and have 2 lengths of 7 foot.

Leaving around 1.75 ft between joists

What are your unsupported spans? What distance between your supports on the ground?
At the moment it looks like you are building a shed on very flimsy joists that might just work if you are on a concrete raft foundation and add in noggings otherwise it's going to snap.

You mean 5 lengths of 10ft.
