    its a bit ferking sad that BAS knows all these regs and is not an electrician. I Could find more intresting books to read if i did not need them.

    The rating tables in the International and Cenelec and British Standard (7671) are
    based on typical type tests, and in the case of table 4D2A, <u>on round cables</u>.

    You'd better write to the IET, and tell them they've got it wrong. They'll still have time to fix it for the 17th...

    They haven't ... they cant be held to blame for your misuse of the tables (or misunderstanding of their explanation)
