There has been a smell in the bathroom for a while but today was really strong and its fish smell could it be because the shower doesnt drain away properly and bringing back a smell that is fish? What can be done about this?

It depends,if the pipe drops arnt correct this could cause self syphonage, basically the momentum of the water running away creates a vacuum strong enough to pull the trap out.Or if its tee into something else e.g a bath waste pipe this may have a similar effect,is there any mould in the shower cubicle?,or is the trap blocked with hair and other stuff which could be festering?(tip:your pipes should ideally drop at 1 in 40)

sorry didnt read it correct, probebly your traps blocked, you should be able to access this for cleaning,or the pipework may be running a less of a fall than it should, more tham likely a blockage tho

Strong fishy smells are normally associated with overheating electrical fittings such as light fittings, switches etc.
