    Hi.

I've recently painted the lounge in silk, but omitted to do a bit of prep in one area. Basically, this meant the child of the previous owners' "highlighter artwork" shone through 3 layers of silk paint (Dulux) :-S

I decided to sand down the area, as it [the highlighter work] offended me, only things turned out different to expected. I ended up cutting and removing a small selection of silk paint!

I've given it two coats already, and am seeking advice on how to minimise (if that is possible) the repair job showing. Any ideas would be gladly accepted.

Is the issue to do with even levels (use filler) or colours showing through (Zinsser BIN)?

Even levels I guess, wishing to minimise the repair job being seen.

Some fine filler then. Might not be easy to completely hide the ridge, could always fill slightly proud then sand down.
