    I'm revamping my kitchen and looking for a general price to skim ceiling over new board 24m2.
    Walls approx 30m2. What is the going rate for re skimming for a job this size?
    All plaster boarding done.
    Thanks in advance.

    I'm not a plasterer but it will depend on your location and how good the plasterer is.

    All I can't advise is to ring them and ask for quotes get at least 3 or 4 and then compare.

    Using that site, just got a estimate for my living room, walls and ceiling. 374.00, I don't think so somehow, if there's a plasterer out there that would it for it, come on round.

    Room is 6.5m x 3.0m, 2 doors, 1 window.

  9. There is another way;
    1. Three day plastering course in Glasgow area £270
    2. Cost of trowel & other tools £100 ish
    3. A few bags of plaster @ £6- £8 a go
    4. Your free labour £00
    Have a go , you get to learn a new skill and save some money.

    £656 inc materials from 1st lad, seems alright. The fact that all I've got in the kitchen just now is a sink and cooker, to tell the wife she's to wait until I've gone to Glasgow to do a course before she gets her kitchen back especially with a toddler and another appearing in a couple months!!! May just be game over for me. Ha ha

    Yeah it's a bit bonkers isnt it Phil! The reason i came about it was when I repaired a ceiling for someone who was expecting around the £34 Mark. I put in the dimensions are fair play thats what it told them!

    Hi. Thanks for posting back. I would say that's a good price for that job.
