Splashback

    My daughter has bought a stainless steel splashback to go behind her electric hob.What silicone would you recommend for holding this in place.thanks in advance

    Doesn't need to be clear, but talk her out of it, she will hate it in 6 months time. Horrible to keep clean and finger mark free.

    Just used some to fix some shower panels on as I ran out of the manufacturers adhesive. Very sticky :eek:

    So presumably this is as good as Stixall.I was wondering about temperature resistance

    They don't get that hot, so any tubed adhesives will do it.

    Why not drill it and fix with screws.......so 6 months time when she hates it, it won't rip the dry lining clean away.

    And yes, I've been there.

    You are right,I am gonna drill it to,like you say ,avoid collateral damage further down the line,cheers for your help,Graham
