Nah, if you read the article properly, the owner is sticking two fingers up at neighbours who objected to the plans to demolish the house and rebuild it. After all the council don't have to look at this (nice) paint job every day,,, but the neighbours do. Fair do's to him/her.

 

Can't be any different to the opposite side of the road to us . P reg Escort rotting away in the drive, 3 piece suite & rusting kids slide rotting away in the garden. Looks like a pikey site, but no one can do much about it. Feel sorry for the neighbours.

 

You feel sorry for someone who can afford a (probably) multi million £ property? What a strange world we live in.

 

Reading the article it says it was done by a group of men on ladders at night who ran away when somebody first saw them. I'm impressed, they've made a very neat job of those stripes, especially for doing a quick job in the dead of night!
