    Hi,

I'm a total amateur and have recently moved into my first home - the bathroom tiles appear to be slate but I cannot be 100% certain. There is a light grey colour on most of my bathroom floor tiles which looks horrible - I've tried scrubbing, steaming and using Vitrex marble and slate cleaner but nothing seems to shift it. I've been told to try Spirit of Salts but unsure as to whether this is appropriate? Anyone had any experience with it? Or have any other ideas to clean?

    Thanks in advance!

Go to any half decent tile shop........they do slate/stone cleaners and deep cleaners. Just make sure it is real slate.

Hi, at Cupa Pizzaras we advise to mix hydrogen peroxide and water. Then to apply with a spray bottle on stains and wait until 10 minutes. Then gently scrub, but caution, it only work on natural slate.
