    Hi

Advice for stripping Victorian stair bannister.

I'm planning to stand the struts, to be primed and painted white, but want to take the bannister back to dark wood finish.

It's already been partly sanded. Whats the best way to take it back to bare wood? continue to sand or strip using paint stripper? If so which one is best?

Use a heat gun and scrape the paint off
