Stupidly it's not decking paint.

I stupidly bought some paint and painted the decking with 1 coat.....was about to order some more, when online it says NOT SUITABLE FOR DECKING.

no where on the tin does it state this, it just says FOR ALL GARDEN WOOD.

because the decking needs 1 maybe 2 more coats can I buy some other DECKING stain and put over the top roughly the same colour,

Or can I seal the colour already down with a clear coat of some sort? As I have 3/4 of a tin left and only need a small amount extra.

I was hoping because it was only a light coat I would get away with going over the top with some stain....ohhh welll
