   Hi
   
   Does anyone know of a suitable plaster for plastering the opening for a gas stove.
   
   I have looked at using EverBuild Heat Resistant Plaster, but the reviews are very poor.
   
   Can anyone recommend a suitable plaster, I don't want it to end up cracking.

   Trouble with EverBuild Heat Resistant Plaster it takes longer to dry, as do most HRP's too many peeps put the fire on before it's fully dry, resulting in it cracking.
   
   
   You could look at Vitcas Heat Resistant Plaster offering protection up to 650c.
