    Hi plumbers!

Is it possible to fit Surrey flange on the side of the cylinder? Or should I use another flange?

Normally use an Essex flange. Lot more fun than a Surrey or Sussex one to fit though!:D

Don't cut that much insulation away if your doing it for real.

:) yeah, I know there's lot more fun with Essex but thing is... I've ordered combi cylinder, 200l for hot water + 40l CW tank. Cylinder came with all needed threads. So I don't need to drill any other holes except overflow outlet and mains inlet into the tank. As it's combi cylinder there's no space on the top of the cylinder

What are you going to run of said flange?

It'll supply hot water for the whole flat ( there are 2 bathrooms) + of course there will be a pump

think you may use water in tank before it could refill if its only 40L! as its on a pump

To run a pump your going to need a header tank at least five times the size of the one you've got.
You will run a 40ltr dry in about four mins or so.
