Syphonic toilet

    On a symphonic toilet fitted with a low level cistern where is the aspirator/bomb located.
    The existing cistern has a capacity of 12l, if this was replaced with cistern of 9l would the toilet still work. Unable to obtain a 12l cistern.

    think you will find that what your trying to do , not possible. pan and cistern matching pair!!!! Change the whole thing

    The valve is fixed between the cistern and pan,

    Photo looks like a close coupled cistern, but my cistern is a low level cistern.

    as far as i know, and if i'm corrected I'll hold my hand up, there's no low suite syphonic toilets, and why would there be, the idea of haveing a high cistern is to give more wieght of water to flush the solids round the bend, a syphonic doses not need to bulk up the power, it sucks it away,,, :eek:
