Taking a wall out,supported/unsupported

    Hi folks, pondering on the idea of removing a wall between kitchen and dinning room,its brick and joists run in the same direction.
    Directly above is stud walling in the bedrooms.
    Can't see no obvious reason why the would be a problem removing the wall,plus could i fit an rsj in the void in the ceiling space to save having boxing in. Thanks.

    Advice is what im after bud? Im assuming as the wall runs in line with the joists that it shouldn't be load bearing?
