Is there a spanner on the market for tightening this type of tap in situ? http://www.screwfix.com/p/swirl-essential-mono-bathroom-basin-mixer-tap-with-pop-up-waste/43613#_=p or is it a case of having to strip it all out silicone around basin and pedestal and all just to get to the wee nut that holds it all in place? Any info greatfully received' ACB
You mean the two brass nuts I presume, use a box spanner, known as a Monoblock spanner, not sure of the size, 8mm, 10mm? http://www.screwfix.com/p/rothenber...et/40102#product_additional_details_container Fit the flexi hose connection before fitting tap in place, easier I find.
I've got this set, contains all the sizes your ever gonna need and can be used on all jobs where your nuts may be hard to reach http://www.screwfix.com/p/box-spanner-set-8pcs/4883f Ok, not same quality as the Rothenberger, probably, but does the job Also B41NY, you can join the spanners together to make a really long tool if the access is really difficult One of those simple, cheap tools that can be invaluable at times - good luck
