What's the best tip you've ever received ?

Never expect more than you ask, that way you'll never be disappointed.

 

Money wise, £500.00 over the agreed price, it was Christmas time and I gave ever penny of it to the lads that worked on that job.

 

My old boss left me his old gun in his will,with the quote working with me changed his life.

Once was given a Stihl petrol cutter c/w spare diamond blade, as a bonus for a job done. Got a B&D scorpion saw. Strangest gift was a case of tinned stewed steak (John West too)

 

Thinking back, when I used to work for someone else, straight after school.

We laid a crazy paving driveway, when we finished, the lady of the house brought out our tea cups with black ribbons tied to the handles, she said she couldn't use them anymore as it was like losing good friends.

 

It was a worthwhile bonus then C.W.

 

Good man, it's amazing how good meat is when supermarkets haven't pumped it full of water.
