The Rhino

The African rhino is nearly extinct.
Over 1000 poached last year for the product "keratin" which their horn is made up off and which finger nails is made up off in human beings.

Why do far eastern * believe it has mystical healing powers?
And why wipe out a whole species just to satisfy that belief?

Even rhino's that have their horns removed by park rangers are not safe because the poachers kill them anyway out off spite.
The vietnamease are big culprits. Their native rhino was declared extinct just a few years ago.
