I'm thinking about boarding my garage loft out, the garage is at the end of the garden and it is a double size loft or stone construction with blocks on the inside.

My concern is if I get damp up there? Should I be worried?

Should I be considering anything else?

    thanks

yes you should get no damp in the loft area especially if its not plaster boarded and no flooring is down.

are the timbers strong enough to support any additional weight!!

timber size length[unsupported] and distance between centres

No flooring at all, just painting it I think to stop dust.

No plasterboard. Just want to use it for some more storage.

in fact, we move in in 4 weeks, its a brand new house, but we won't have much storage in the house.

I'd like to fit something at the bottom of the up and over garage timber doors - is there something to stop water, wind, leaves etc getting in?

    origional questions still remain ;)
if your timbers are say 6x2" at 10 ft span at 400 centres you have some spare capacity
but as yours is a double we still need the sizes centre and span
