Tool insurance

Does anyone have any info on tool insurance? Im not self employed, I work for a company and am on their books, but have just been given a company van. A colleague had his van broken into fairly recently one night and we were informed that the van's contents arent insured out of work hours. Had a look around the net but can only find tool insurance as part of business insurance, which obviously I dont need. Thanks for any help

 

Vast majority of them are owned by myself, a few things are company owned
