Some doors I need to hang will need trimming lengthways. Each door has four (two each side,) what appear to be Aluminium, strips inlayed into them. See photos.

Would anyone have any experience of trimming doors with metallic inlays and the best method for dealing with them? Would a particular type of circular saw blade deal with this? Should I use a router?

Doors are oak veneer over solid wood composite.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if they are just a tight fit(rather than fixed) and maybe can be tapped back to clear wood, repositioning and hacksaw-ing off afterwards! Seems a silly design otherwise.
    Honestly never seen them before.

Seems like a sensible approach, thanks HandyAndy
