your slx amp has 4g filters inside so will not allow any signal through above ch59. set the sky box to this or lower and you will get perfect pictures. if you have an aerial fitted as well make sure you dont set sky box output to same channel numbers as used for local digital transmissions.
Just an update to end this thread. Got back tot he customers today and 'telerepair' man is bang on the money, shifted the Sky RF out down to Channel 50, retuned the upstairs tv's and the pictures are wonderfull. This 4G thing certainly got the better of me but it wont again, seems to not be as well a known problem as I perhaps thought as one of the contractors in my wholesalers today was talking to the sales guy about exactly the same problem on a job he was.. (I poked my beak in and enlightened him of course) Again, thanks to you all for your replies and kudos to telerepair for being bang on the money. Cheers L.
