We are having a general discussion here about the official terminology for holes. Can a hole be un dug, can it even be partially un dug. if so at what stage does an un-dug hole become dug??? Please help where you can we think professional intervention is required in more ways than one here.
I think undug, is thinking about it and planning. Underdug is during digging. Dug is all dug, or dugout maybe? Dugged is filled in again. Redug is doing it again
Underdug is not been dug deep enough by the digger Dug is done. Filled in is filled in, it ceases to be dug or undugged, it goes back to being the ground. To redug you would have to redig first.
Undug is 'not dug'. There is no verb for undig or undug. And 'underdug' would be dug beneath. Mr. HandyAndy - Really
Ah but if it's undug, it's not a hole. So to stand on his hole it must have been dug, so he would fall in. If he was in an undug hole, he would now be buried. Common sense! RIP Mr. HandyAndy - Really
