Hi all. Not sure if this is the right place. Recently doing our first house out and it's come to getting the flooring down. We have a kitchen/dinning room that were wanting the (cushion flooring) to go straight through. The problem is the dinning room side is floor boards and the kitchen side is concrete with a 30mm difrence from the concrete upto the wood floor boards. Whats the best way to level the two up? Some 30mm boards? Really don't know Cheers
Too thin for a screed, too expensive for leveling compound, something like Cellecta DECKfon 30T or similar would would be ideal, it's a 30mm moisture resistant t&g board, 2240x600mm size. http://www.cellecta.co.uk/cellecta-...-insulation-products/acoustic-overlay-boards/
Cheers any ideas best Plas to buy? Do I need to do anything to the joint over between the new raised bit and the floor boards? Any magic smoothing tape to stop the joint wearing on the cushion floor?
